A.1)Placing myself in shoes of the cavern people I think that Cam was is just in her contributions towards the cavern as although strict,harsh and bossy she was the glue that held the cavern people stuck together because without Cam keeping check over everything all the cavern chores would remain undone,everyone would have done what they wanted and all this would have caused a blame game of"It's your fault"to be played in the end.Without Cam's supervision and check and balance all the limited resources gathered could have been wasted or rather run out very quickly.In a nutshell,Cam's leadership was a component must needed for the cavern peoples' survival in a humanly manner.
ReplyDeleteA.2)In my view,Zak should spearhead or lead the group of cavern people because:
1.)Zak has a commanding personality so even without strictness and stiffness everyone listens to him easily,this would cause everyone to work smoothly without anyone's temperament getting high or anyone being insulted.
2.)Everyone has respect for Zak in their eyes and think of him as someone above all in rank and position and so is commands and orders would not hurt anyone's ego.
3.)Inspite of all his respected chracteristics,Zak has a friendly disposition that tells of his warm heartedness and invites everyone to look up to him for any kind of solutions to a problem that occurred.
A.3)Zak's specific position...........hmmmmm.I think that Zak's personality can be compared to a two sided page that had different extracts on each side,but a page that has good extracts on both side means that on one hand Zak was a person of dignity,grace and decision power while on the other hand he was soft hearted and friendly.This quality of his is very much liked by me and I quite much try to adopt it by talking and being friendly with my mates but while maintaining my grace.

ReplyDeleteIn my view, I reckon that Zak should be the leader of the cavern because firstly;he was really very amiable with others, he had a nice attitude and always solved the problems without any hesitation secondly he was charitable and was obedient and kind!!!Whereas as mentioned in the novel that "Zak was highly respected", so this shows that maybe he would be able to control those 23 people surviving in the cavern, effortlessly!secondly he assisted others in their work and was very innocent and didn't always commanded everybody to work on their jobs-unlike Miss Cam!!!so these were the points that makes Zak have the full authority to be the leader in the cavern!!!

ReplyDeleteIn my view, placing myself among the cavern people I think that; Cam was just in her contributions towards the cavern because firstly she was a very dogmatic, extrovert, rude and strict woman secondly she didn't even let a person rest in peace for a second and highly reacted towards the person who repudiated to assist anymore! But in my opinion; I reckon that she did this all stuff to make us more serious at our work and wanted the life to go on without any halt, whereas I think that she was a real bellwether and knew how to control the people and unite them to assist each other in their work and if she didn't did like that and would be amiable with everybody so unfortunately people would not take interest in their work and would be lethargic enough and every work would be incomplete so I think that Cam is just in her contributions!!!!
I highly agree with this statement that,"Zak has specific position among the cavern people".In my view,I consider that he was a really very polite, extrovert, amiable, kind, tolerant, graceful and a person full of vitality!!!Being amiable and kind are the qualities that I highly want to imply in myself because being amiable and kind with our kith and kin helps us to be a good person in the society whereas it develops our self respect and assists us in making friendships with people more with lightning speed!!!

ReplyDeleteANS.1.After placing myself in the cavern, i have examined that Cam was just in her contributions towards the cavern. She was dominating, tough,dominant,bossy,discourteous,rigid and assertive but these potentials also helped her in being supreme. Everyone listened to her and she controlled all of them which is why day by day they worked harder and gained many things for their survival. If she would've been polite, pleasant and soft then nobody would care at what she said because they would want to live on their own by resting, soothing, eating, talking and playing. this way no one would work and at the end of a day they all would suffer!

ReplyDeleteQ1)Being one of the cavern people I can say that Cam really is just in her contributions to the cavern as if she hadn't been strict, robust and bossy no one would listen to her and the whole system of the cavern would fall apart and they wouldn't be able to survive. If they didn't get warmth or water or food that everyone worked together to get they would die and if Cam did not play her part of controlling everyone they would have quarrels and arguments on doing different chores and there would not be discipline or hard work that is must for survival.

In my view, Zak should be the leading light of the cavern because;
ReplyDelete1.Everyone obeyed him even after he was gracious, ,soft, amiable and quiet.
2.They respected him, including Cam.
3.He was treated chiefly and everyone took care of his comfort too.
4.He seems to be dynamic and well mannered. I think Zak can also manage things well as instead of being hyperactive or anxious, he is calm.
ANS.3.Zak has a specific position among the cavern people, my thought about his character is that he is agreeable,kind hearted, vibrant, cool, serene, well mannered, quiet, reserved, introvert and timid but chief. He speaks less and only when necessary.
ReplyDeleteThe only one of his quality that i want to imply in myself is to be quiet and speak only when compulsory as sometimes I talk useless. I try to talk less and i hope that i will succeed because by talking hopelessly, which is of no use, we may disturb many things. May be some of the things that we say hurt someone, maybe someone gets annoyed of what we say or maybe someone is getting distracted while doing something important so whenever we speak we should take care of ll these things!!
Q2)Zak was a true leader and he had all the leadership qualities,he should have been the leader because:
ReplyDelete1)Zak was friendly and he helped everyone who needed help he also knew what and how to do most of the jobs so if someone needed assistance Zak was the one with a whole lot of it.
2)When Zak spoke there was a wave of silence in the listeners. Whatever he told the others believed it and he also knew the story of why they were in this place. So he was the most knowledgeable.
3)He could control 'Cam' who was the previous leader by some mystic words and Cam was totally lost after that she could not be able to concentrate on anything. Zak said that you were in the sky and then fell. Then magic happened and Cam was completely lost.
All this means that Zak was superior than Cam and also the other group members. Above all in my opinion its easier to control people with kindness and sympathy rather than over ruling them.
Q3)Zak definitely has a specific position in the cavern people. In his character I can clearly see two different personalities residing at the same time. He is really friendly and amiable and helpful and what not. He helps everyone and assists them and also give advice. While on the other side he is strong and can rule over anyone even Cam. He tells frightening stories but everyone listens.

Ans1]i think that cam had a bossy personality and diddnt find anyone equal. in her eyes everyone was different, some were lazy and some were active a very good example was Bando whom cam found useless and he diddnt had any work.

Ans3] I liked Zak very much, he was a very good person. Everyone respected him and he also respected them. He also helped everyone, he was always calm and cool he knew everything about the cavern and places around them. I come in rage and am furious very quickly. I wish that I become determined and less aggressive.

She made everyone unite and work together she also gave them orders and no one argued with her. She knew what has to be done at what time and who is suited to which work and can do it easily. Like we have to make our body parts to gather Cam does the same job and makes everyone able to survive.
