  1. A biome is a really large ecosystem. Tropical rain forests are one of these 8 biomes this is what makes them so special.
They contain 50% of plants and animals in the world but they themselves cove 2% of the earths surface.
The rain forest has 4 layers first is the emergent with trees 80 meters tall. It has a few trees. The next is the canopy. It is very thick and blocks sunlight for the plants below. It contains vines. Then there is the understory with trees only 12ft tall. This is because of the canopy blocking the light. The lowest is the forest floor with plants that can live with no sunlight like moss and fern.
The temperature in this biome is 20'C with a lot of humidity and 250cm of rain every year.It is because of it's location near the equator. The water from the two seas besides evaporates and forms clouds and so a lot of rain.
Animals adapt in a lot of ways like the attract mate due to abundance of water and food. They also adapt with colors, patterns and unique calls. Monkey tail helps it to travel around the jungle.
Plants have adapted by having oily leaves so they are not bent down by rain.
This biome is great for tourists too but they have to be prepared for rain, humidity and heat. So they should pack waterproof rain coat, comfortable shoes,t-shirts and long pants along with sunscreen cream. There are activities for them too like kayaking, white water rafting, horse riding and climbing
They also give us 120 prescription drugs. Even then 78 million accers of them are cot annually which means 2 accers are cut per second for farming and logging.
We have to save the worlds beauty (rain forests) as they are really useful and thier beauty cant be described in words.

  2. Rainforest,is one of the world's riches as well as one of the huge biome on the earth. This contains up to 50% of plants and animal species that are very colorful and are of every type e.g they can crawl, swim, fly, climb and run like sloths, apes, parrots, jaguars, pythons and tree frogs etc, but surprisingly the rainforest itself covers only about 2%-6% area of the entire world!
Now, after million of years of growth, the vegetation in the rainforest forms four main layers e.g the emergents which is the top most layer and consists of few trees that are almost 60m.-80m. tall, secondly the canopy is the second tallest layer. It is the most thickest one and the trees present over here range up to 20-30m. and block out the sunlight. Most of the animals and insects have adapted to live there and vines grow over there. Whereas the under-canopy layer has trees ranging from 10-12m. height due to the lack of sunlight that has being blocked up by the upper layers. The lowest layer is the shrub layer or the forest floor, that hardly gets any sunlight and contains mosses, ferns, and other type of low lying plants that have the adaptation that allows them to live in shady areas(without sunlight).
The average temperature is 20'C and the average rainfall is 250-mm. per annum. The factors that influence the climate are, due to the location near the equator and in turn the heat causes water to evaporate in large amounts that results in heavy rainfall.
Many species have different adaptations to cope up with the present situation e.g monkeys have long tails that assists them to climb trees, whereas some leaves have sharp edges for protection, thick waxy coat and drip tips to let the rain drip off and many other species have many unique ways, colors and patterns to cope up!
The rainforest are a big source of adventures for the tourists too but while traveling they should take comfortable shoes, T-shirts, rain coats and sunscreen cream. There are lots of activities for them like kayaking, white water rafting and climbing etc. Unfortunately on another hand these rainforest are also beneficial and significant for mankind too e.g it provides us with timber and camphor etc. that play a big role in medical treatment and are used in furniture making, building houses and ships etc. but surprisingly we humans have done so much deforestation that approximately 78 million acres of rainforest are cleared per annum by logging companies, government or for farmlands. Unfortunately only 30% of the area is still forested as compared to the past so we should try to reduce our needs and save these riches of the world!

  3. The Earth has many divisions;first land and water.30% of the land consists of the following biomes;tundra, taiga, savanna, hot desert,Mountain biome, temperate grasslands, decidous forsts and tropical rainforests.
Today the topic in question is the tropical rainforests. The tropical rainforests consists of four layers that are as follows:
Emergents:this layer consists of the few tall trees that have grown upto 80 metres tall for getting enough sunlight.
Upper canopy:this layer consists of the thick roof that makes up most of the rainforests and has leaves, vines and branches which stop sunlight from reaching to the layers beneath.
Under canopy/storey:this layer consists of trees upto twelve metres in height due to lack of sunlight.
Forest floor:this layer consist of plants like moss and fern that find it easy to survive even in less sunlight.
The average temperature of the rainforest remains about 20'C and the atmosphere very humid due to the 257 cm of annual rainfalll that occurs due to the rainforests location that is near the equator(part of the earth that gets most sunlight). The water for all this rainfall is mostly contributed by the Pacific and Caribbean.
The plants and animals in this biome have adapted to it in many unique ways. The plants main concern is getting sunlight and avoiding bending by the heavy rain.As for sunlight they try to grow tall and to avoid bending they have glossy, waxy or oily leaves.
The animals main concern over here is camouflaging due to abundance of food and water which they do by taking on different colours and patterns in resemblance to the plants.
This biome is also the centre of attraction for tourists because of its wide range of activities to select from such as white water rafting, horse riding, climbing and kayakang but tourists should be prepared for rain, heat, humidity and so when packing the followings things should be kept religiously:
    Water proof rain coat
    Sandals
    Comfortable shoes
    Long Pants
    Shorts
    T-shirts
while sunscreens and sweaters can be kept as precautions.
This biome also has many others benefits for the human race such as providing food stuff and also fulfilling medicinal needs by providing 120 prescription drugs and also many anti-cancer drugs.
Even after being so beneficial we humans are clearing the tropical rainforests at the rate of 2 acres/sec which means 78 billion acres annually
and that also mainly for logging companies, farming lands and industrialisation and establishment of settlements.
So being aware of all the cons and pros of this situation we should now stop deforestation and start replantation campaigns for restoring the the loss we have done.

  4. A biome is a very large ecosystem and there are eight of them in our planet which is the earth.
a very important biome is the Tropical Rain forest,it is named rain forest because every year a large amount of rain falls on it. they occupy only 2% of the earth but contain 50% of the animals and plants of the earth. Rain forest consists of 4 layers.
    1) Emergent layer
It has very less trees but the all are very high and go up-to 80 meters.
    2) Canopy layer
It is very thick and blocks sunlight for the plants below. It contains vines. it also blocks most of the sunlight.
    3) Under-story layer
It is affected by the canopy, and because of its blockage of light its trees only grow 12 feet.
    4) Forest floor
It consists of plants that can live with no sunlight like mosses and ferns.
Mostly rain forests are located near the equator and oceans and seas. That’s the reasons of high temperatures up to 20 degree C and large amounts of rainfalls up to 250cm which increase the humidity. There the water cycle is applied very frequently. Animals settle and like to live here because they feel secure there and find mates easily, the also like the area because of easy axis of food and water. Mostly plants die because of lots of rain but these trees have developed drip tips on the leaves and the leaves are coated with wax so the water slips easily. Rain forests also attract tourists because many activities can be done here such as white water rafting and hiking but for a visit to the rainforests we must have:
    Water proof rain coat
    Sandals
    Comfortable shoes
    Long Pants
    Shorts
    T-shirts
Rain forest are also very important for us, they provide us with fruits, 120 prescription drugs etc. They also benefit us by other things but we cut 78 million acers of them per year. Rain forest are getting less day by day only if we create awareness in people then our earth and rain forests can be saved. Cutting of trees should be a crime and strictly prohibited. :)

  5. Tropical Rainforest is a biome where we can find innumerable things such as plants, animals, different weather conditions and its beauties.
It contains 50% of the plants and animal species which are present in different diversities. The tropical rainforest only covers 2% of the whole earth’s surface. It has four major levels; the first layer is the Emergent layer which is the top most portion of the forest and it consists of trees that grow approximately 80 meters tall. The second layer is the Canopy which is a thick roof that comprises vines and branches that block out the sunlight from reaching the forest floor. The third layer is the Under story layer which consists of trees that grow to approximately 12 feet in height, this is due to the lack of sunlight that is blocked by the canopy above. The forth layer , the lowest level is the Forest floor that has small plants such as mosses, ferns and other plants that can survive without sunlight. The average temperature of the tropical rainforest is 20 degree Celsius which is humid and heat due to 200 till 250 centimeter rainfall that the rainforest receives annually. There is less rainfall because the rainforest is located near the equator, the area that receives the most sunlight. The suns warmth heats the water of the two oceans near the biome; the Pacific ocean and the Caribbean ocean that water this biome which causes large amounts of evaporation which in turn results as large amounts of rainfall that play an important factor in the rainforests.
The animals and plants living here have adapted themselves through various ways; the animals have adapted by making mates and by having different colorful skin patterns. Monkeys have also adapted themselves in a special way by using their tails to travel through the forest safely by grabbing one branch to another. Plants have adapted to the rainforest in such a way that when it rains they shed the water with their grooved or oily leaves. Rainforests are important for human kind as well, as over 120 prescription drugs and anti-cancer drugs are found over there in trees.
If we plan a trip to visit the tropical rainforest then we must be prepared for the rainfall that accompanies the rainforest but humidity and heat are also present there so while packing our bags, the most important things that we should have in our minds are; a water proof raincoat, sandals, comfortable shoes, long pants, shorts, T-shirts, sweaters and sunscreen. Sunscreen is not necessary due to the thick layer of canopy but it may be just used when you need to go out of the forest like near the river.
As time is passing by, over 78 billion acres rainforests are disappearing every year which means 2 acres per second! The causes for this are the logging companies or clearance for farming.
Even after the forests provide us with so many things, they are a gift of god, beauty of nature but still we are practicing deforestation. Now this is the time to turn up so we should at least still try to stand back from what we are doing today!
